Community Prayers & Concerns

Community members and their families request your thoughts and prayers for the following Community-related intentions and concerns. Community members only should contact the Prayers & Concerns administrator to have a request posted on this page and in the Community Weekly Bulletin. Items will be posted for a period of 3 weeks, unless a request for renewal is received by the administrator prior to the end of each 3-week period. Please Note: Community-wide email broadcast message requests must be requested separately.

We have word that Amy Nidermier (at Bkly Heights Nursing & Rehab Center)had a stroke and is not taking food or liquids well. She is receiving hospice care. Please keep her, Joe and the family in your prayers.

PRAYERS, PRAYERS, PRAYERS! Jacob Avirappattu (7) was transferred to the Children's Specialized Hospital in New Brunswick Nov. 19th. We pray that this will be a step forward in his recovery. Some positive signs have been observed. The prayer vigil at 7 p.m. each night continues.

Jody Pfeiffer is requesting prayers for all the family of her brother Tom who will undergo a complicated surgery to close his "Clagett's window" on 11/20.

Community member Doug Stephens requests our prayer support during his week "blitz build" in Central America. See http://elsalvadorblitzbuildvolunteersite.blogspot.com/.

Don Kuhn's brother Vincent passed away recently after a long illness; please keep Vincent and his family in your prayers.

Pete Cino recently lost his sister Angela Ilaria; please keep Angela and her family in your prayers.

Please pray for the Hampton family in the recent passing of Tama's mother Frances Labreche after a long illness in CT; and for Mrs. Labreche as well. Viewing is on 11/14 and the mass Sat. 11/15. The Shrine office has details.

Marie Hogarty and Jeanne Nicholls request our prayers for their friend's grandson, David Heard, age 8, who is receiving chemotherapy for a neuroblastoma.
